It seems there is a dieting technique that covers ever subject matter. There are gluten-free diets, diets that contain no carbs, grapefruit diets, and a diet that involves ingesting only liquids. There is now a diet that is based on a person’s blood type, which is really more of a lifestyle change. The technique is based on the concept that the way nutrients are absorbed into the body differs depending on blood type. This is why people with certain blood types do not respond as well as others to things like low carb diets. Knowing how to pick foods based on your blood type can improve your health and allow you to shed some pounds.
Step 1: Find out whether your blood type is O, A, B, or AB.
Basic relevant information:
Type A- naturally suited to vegetarian diets and foods that are organic, pure, and fresh. Recommended exercise is tai chi or yoga.
Type B- has tolerant digestive system and strong immune system. Recommended exercise is swimming, tennis, cycling, or hiking.
Type AB- most biologically complex blood type. Recommended exercises are a combination of those for types A and B.
Type O- diet should include animal proteins, but few grains or dairy products. Recommended exercise is intense activities such as running, contact sports, martial arts, and aerobics.
Step 2: Go online, purchase a book, or consult with a physician to determine the highly beneficial, allowed, and not allowed foods for your blood type. Highly beneficial foods serve the same function as medicine. Allowed foods will not cause any harm to the blood type. Not allowed foods act like poison to the blood type. Consuming, or not consuming, these foods as recommended will allow the body to restore itself to its natural genetic rhythm.
Step 3: If weight loss is the goal, research the foods that help with weight loss and foods to avoid, based on blood type.
Step 4: Engage in the recommended forms of exercise based on your blood type.
