Step One: Collect your ingredients. Some are things that you should have around the house; others will require a trip to the store. Double check what you have in stock and make sure that all the ingredients are ready.
Step Two: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step Three: Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Adding in a pinch of salt will make it boil faster. Pour the uncooked pasta in and stir. Let the pasta stay in the water for eight to ten minutes. When finished, the pasta should be semi-soft, but not mushy.
Step Three: In a mixing bowl combine a cup of milk, a can of condensed mushroom soup (low-fat is fine), and one and a half cups of water. Stir this together until it has an even liquid consistency and the soup is well blended with the water and milk.
Step Four: Pour a bit of the soup mixture into the bottom of a nine inch by thirteen inch baking pan. Use just enough to cover the bottom of the pan.
Step Five: Add in a thin layer of the noodles. On top of these, put in some flaked tuna (choose water packed tuna to save calories). The next layer should be frozen green peas, followed by frozen carrots. Lastly, put on a thin layer of sliced potatoes.
Step Six: Repeat step five until the pan is filled up and the ingredients are used up. Pour the remaining soup mixture over the pan. Put a dash of salt, pepper, and paprika on top. Coat the entire dish with a thin layer of breadcrumbs. Cover with tin foil and put in the over. Bake for forty five minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
